Eligibility Criteria

  • Permanent Residency: The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam and belong to recognized Tea Tribes / Adivasi communities (TGL / EX-TGL).
  • Caste Certificate: A valid TGL or EX-TGL community certificate issued by the competent authority or verified Tea Garden authorities is mandatory.
  • Family Income: Total annual family income from all combined sources must not exceed Rs. 5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakh) per annum. An income undertaking/certificate signed by parents/guardians must be uploaded.
  • Bank Account: The student must have an individual, operational bank account in a nationalized or scheduled bank that is properly linked with Aadhaar and mobile number.
  • Course Recognition: The candidate must be admitted to an accredited, government-recognized school, college, polytechnic, or university.

Application Fee

Application submission on the SIRISH portal is completely free of cost (Nil). Beneficiaries receive all sanctioned funds directly into their Aadhaar-seeded bank accounts via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
