Project Title & Scope
Title of the Project: "Portable PV Integrated Multi Active Bridge Converter Based EV Charger for Metropolitan and Rural Area"
Department: Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, RGIPT Sivasagar Campus
Principal Investigator: Dr. M. Chakkarapani, Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Scope of Work: Simulation, hardware fabrication, firmware coding, and experimental laboratory testing of multi-active bridge DC-DC converters, solar photovoltaic power integration, and smart electric vehicle charging subsystems.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Essential Qualifications
- Regular four-year full-time B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) or equivalent degree from a recognized University or Institute with strong academic credentials.
2. Desirable Qualifications
- M.E. / M.Tech in Power Electronics, Electrical Drives, or Renewable Energy Systems.
- Prior hands-on exposure to power electronics converter design, PCB prototyping, MATLAB/Simulink or PLECS simulation software, DSP / microcontroller programming, and laboratory test instruments.
- A valid GATE score in Electrical Engineering will be given preference during shortlisting.
3. Age Limit & Concessions
The upper age limit is 35 years as on the closing date of application (28th October 2026). Standard Government of India age relaxations apply for SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and PwBD candidates.
