Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification:
- Head Constable (General Duty): 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent from a recognized State or Central Board of Education. (Equivalent Army qualification accepted for Ex-Army personnel).
- Constable (General Duty): Matriculation (Class 10) pass or equivalent from a recognized Board.
2. Sports Achievements / Qualifications:
- Represented the Country in recognized International Competitions / Meets with clearance of the Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports; OR
- Represented a State / UT in the Senior or Junior National Championships / National Games organized by recognized National Sports Federations; OR
- Represented University in Inter-University Tournaments organized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU); OR
- Won medals / positions up to 3rd place in National School Games organized by the School Games Federation of India (SGFI); OR
- Won medals / positions up to 3rd place in Khelo India Youth Games / Khelo India University Games / Khelo India Winter Games.
- Sports achievements must have been attained between 1st January 2024 and 11th November 2026.
Age Limit & Relaxations
Candidates must be between 18 and 23 years of age as on 1st August 2026 (born between 02.08.2003 and 01.08.2008, both dates inclusive).

Selection Process
- Documentation Verification: Scrutiny of educational, age, and sports certificates.
- Physical Standard Test (PST): Height, chest, and weight measurements as per central armed police forces norms.
- Sports Trial & Skill Assessment: Evaluation of playing ability and tactical skill in the respective sport (50 Marks, qualifying minimum 30 Marks).
- Merit Ranking: Combined evaluation based on marks assigned to sports certificates and trial performance.
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME) & Review Medical Examination (RME).
