Eligibility Criteria
1. Age Limit
The upper age limit must not exceed 35 years as on 26th October 2026. Standard government relaxations apply for SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD applicants as per statutory directives.
2. Educational Qualifications (Any One of the Following)
- Three-year full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Sericulture; OR
- Four-year full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Sericulture; OR
- Three-year full-time Degree + Post Graduate Diploma in Sericulture (PGDS); OR
- Four-year full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Sciences or Forestry; OR
- Three-year full-time Degree in Biological Sciences (Zoology, Botany, or Biology) or Biotechnology with a PG Diploma in Sericulture; OR
- Three-year full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences (Zoology, Botany, or Biology) or Biotechnology along with at least 1 (one) year of practical experience in Sericultural project work.
3. Desirable Experience
Prior field experience in silkworm rearing, host plant cultivation, and grainage operations (Pre-Cocoon Sector) will be accorded added preference during selection.
