Assam State Space Application Centre (ASSAC) Recruitment 2026

The Assam State Space Application Centre (ASSAC), operating under the Science, Technology and Climate Change Department, Government of Assam, has announced walk-in interview notifications for the contractual engagement of 3 positions including Accounts Assistant and Junior Field Assistant at its Bigyan Bhawan headquarters in Guwahati.

Vacancies are open for candidates holding a B.Com with Major in Accountancy or Higher Secondary (10+2) with ITI certificates in Surveying or Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA). Selected candidates will be engaged initially for six months with monthly consolidated emoluments of up to Rs. 25,000/- plus CPF. Walk-in interviews are scheduled on 29th September and 6th October 2026.

Junior Field Assistant (COPA)	01	Rs. 18,000/- p.m. + CPF	HSSLC (10+2) passed with ITI Certificate in COPA (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant). Desirable: Data entry, web portal operations, spreadsheets, and basic GIS software.	6th October 2026

Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit

Nationality & Residency: Candidate must be an Indian citizen and a Permanent Resident of Assam (PRC required at the time of interview).
Age Limit: 18 to 38 years as on 1st January 2026. Standard upper age relaxation applies to reserved categories as per Government of Assam guidelines.
