Selection Process for RRB NTPC Under Graduate Level

The selection process includes:

1. 1st Stage CBT – Screening
2. 2nd Stage CBT – Main Exam
3. Typing Skill Test (TST) / Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) (as applicable)
4. Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination

1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)

• No. of Questions: 100
• Duration: 90 minutes
• Total Marks: 100
• Negative Marking: 1/3 mark deduction for each wrong answer

Subjects:

• Mathematics
• General Intelligence & Reasoning
• General Awareness

Minimum Qualifying Marks:

• UR/EWS: 40%
• OBC (NCL): 30%
• SC: 30%
• ST: 25%
• PwBD: Relaxation of 2%

2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)

• No. of Questions: 120
• Duration: 90 minutes
• Total Marks: 120
• Negative Marking: 1/3 mark deduction for each wrong answer

• General Awareness

Qualifying Marks:

• Same as 1st Stage CBT.

Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) – For Station Master Posts Only

• Minimum T-Score of 42 in each test battery to qualify.
• No relaxation for any category.
• No negative marking.
• Vision certificate in prescribed format required.

Typing Skill Test (TST)

For posts like Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, Account Clerk Cum Typist & Junior Clerk Cum Typist:

• English: 30 WPM
• Hindi: 25 WPM
• Qualifying in nature (marks not added to merit).

Document Verification (DV) & Medical Examination

• Candidates shortlisted based on merit and preferences.
• Final appointment is subject to medical fitness, document verification, and background check.
