These positions are available in various security forces including the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR), and Sepoy in the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). Candidates who apply for SSC Constable Recruitment (General Duty) must first appear for the Computer Based Examination (CBE). The key details for the CBE are as follows:

    • SC/ST: 5 years
    • OBC: 3 years
    • Ex-Servicemen: 3 years

 

Nationality :

To Apply for SSC Constable Recruitment - The candidate must be a citizen of India. - For vacancies in CAPFs & Assam Rifles, candidates must submit a domicile certificate from their respective State/Union Territory.

Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of the following stages:

  1. Computer-Based Test/Exam (CBT)
    The written exams or assessments will be administered and taken on a computer.
  2. Physical Standard Test (PST)
    Candidates will be assessed for height, chest (for male candidates), and weight.
  3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
    Candidates need to complete a physical race within prescribed time limits.
  4. Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
    A thorough medical check to determine fitness.
  5. Document Verification (DV)
    Verification of all original documents for eligibility.
