Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualifications
- Candidates must have completed a 4-year regular B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc Engineering course from an AICTE approved college or recognized University in the relevant discipline.
- Eligible Specializations:
- Electronics: Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Telecommunication / Communication / Telecommunication.
- Mechanical: Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum Marks Requirement: Candidates belonging to General, OBC (NCL), and EWS categories must have secured First Class. For SC, ST, and PwBD candidates, Pass Class is sufficient.
- AMIE / AMIETE / GIETE candidates with First Class in the above disciplines are also eligible.
2. Age Limit & Relaxations (as on 01/10/2026)
- Upper Age Limit for General & EWS Candidates: 25 Years (born on or after 01.10.2001).
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years Relaxation (up to 28 years).
- SC / ST Candidates: 5 Years Relaxation (up to 30 years).
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 Years Relaxation.
- Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India directives.

Selection Process & Examination Pattern
- Computer Based Test (CBT): An objective multiple-choice computer test will be conducted at designated centres across India.
- Part I: General Aptitude – 30 Questions (Logical Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Data Interpretation, Verbal Ability, General Knowledge).
- Part II: Technical / Domain Knowledge – 120 Questions (Specific to Electronics or Mechanical discipline).
- Total duration: 150 Minutes (2.5 Hours).
- Personal Interview: Candidates securing the qualifying cutoff in the CBT will be shortlisted for personal interview in the ratio of 1:5 based on merit.
- Final Selection: Prepared with weightage of 85% for CBT score and 15% for Interview performance, followed by document scrutiny and medical examination.
