Educational Qualifications & UGC Norms

1. Principal / Head, Department of Physical Education

• Master's degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed./M.P.E.) with 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
• Ph.D. in Physical Education as prescribed by UGC.
• Minimum 8 years of teaching experience in a recognized university department / college (UGC norms).
• Research publications in UGC-listed or peer-reviewed journals.

2. Assistant Professor – Physical Education

• Master's degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed./M.P.E.) with 55% marks.
• NET (UGC-CSIR) / SLET / SET in Physical Education, or Ph.D. in Physical Education as per UGC norms.
• Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) is a primary qualifying degree.

3. Sports Coach / Yoga Instructor / Sport Psychologist

• Degree / Diploma in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or a Postgraduate Diploma in Coaching / Yoga / Sports Psychology from a recognized University or SAI-affiliated institute.
• Proven experience at State / National / International level in the relevant sport with certifications from recognized sports federations will be given preference.
