Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
1. Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th standard) or an equivalent examination from a recognized State/Central Board of Education.
2. Sports Achievements & Qualifications
- Only candidates who have participated or won medal(s) in recognized sports championships during the period from 01st January 2024 to 01st November 2026 are eligible.
- Eligible competitions include: Olympic Games, Youth Olympic Games, World Championships/Cups, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, Asian Championships, World University Games, Senior National Games, Junior National Championships, Inter-University Tournaments, and Khelo India Youth/Winter Games.
3. Age Limit & Relaxations (as on 01.11.2026)
- Age Range: 18 to 23 years.
- Upper Age Relaxations:
- General (UR) / EWS: 5 Years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 8 Years
- SC / ST Candidates: 10 Years
Pay Scale & Central Allowances
Appointed Constables will receive emoluments under Pay Level-3 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix (Rs. 21,700 – Rs. 69,100 per month) along with Dearness Allowance (DA), Ration Money Allowance, Free Uniform/Dress Allowance, House Rent Allowance (HRA) or free barrack accommodation, Transport Allowance, Risk & Hardship Allowance, and CGHS medical facilities.
